Friday Favorites!

It's been a great week here in Bucklesberry!!!!

A lot of rain this week helped to cool things off which 

makes me excited for Fall!

Nothing is more fun than spending my time with my girl.

On Saturday we went to a friend's birthday party at

Coco Darlings.

Bailey had so much fun dressing up and getting her nails done.

 Not only is that a sassy little number she's wearing, but it's

actually Hannah Montana...does anybody remember her???

Floral Fun!

 On Friday evening the hubby took all his girls to 

Sweetiepies Cupcakery in Kinston for a little date and a cupcake!

While we were walking to the shop I asked Madison to take some quick pics

with her phone and that's just what these are!

With that being said... I apologize for the poor quality of these photos!

 I found this floral dress at Old Navy a few weeks ago and it looks

way better on that it does hanging on the rack.

This is the perfect dress to transition in to fall.

I paired with a denim vest, but it would look great with a 

military jacket and booties.

Sophia Elizabeth's Baby Shower

We've had a busy weekend planning and preparing for my dear friend,
Laura's
Baby Shower!
It's a GIRL!!!
I had the wonderful pleasure of helping along with Laura's mother, mother-in-law and
sister-in-law.
Sophia Elizabeth was showered with so many sweet gifts!
Everything was beautiful and of course
PINK
for sweet Sophia!

These two boys are going to be amazing big brothers for their little sissy!

 These sweet ladies mean so much to me!

Laura's, sister-in-law, Shannon is pinning on her corsage.
Shannon worked so hard decorating and making sure every detail was perfection!

 Here is a beautiful example of Shannon's endless creativity.

 I borrowed these pink mason jars from a friend and used them to decorate for the shower.

 Shannon had Sophia a sweet personalized tea set.
So precious!

 We decorated the bar with lots of pink things!

 I used my chalk board frame for the gift favors.

 Everyone loved the little thank you's!
You could choose from pink fingernail polish or pink bath & body works hand sanitizer.

 Laura received lots of precious gifts that Sophia will be absolutely adorable in!
Laura's family along with myself(which I consider myself family) are super excited
for Sophia Elizabeth's arrival!
It was destined that  Laura would have a baby girl to share in all the wonderful memories that
she's shared with her mother.
Precious memories...
Dressing & Dolling her all up,
Little girl's sweet kisses,
Her first dance class or first t-ball practice,
picking out her first prom dress,
her first date,
her wedding dress,
and of course just watching her grow up into a beautiful, loving and caring woman inside and out!
Laura already has two sweet boys and she will continue in this journey of being a wonderful
mother to this precious baby girl that the Lord has blessed her with.

Today just so happens to be Laura's birthday.
Happy Birthday today to my
DEAR FRIEND!!!!
It's been a great weekend sharing in this joy of your baby girl!
Birthday blessing to you for many, many, many more years of happiness and health!

Flashback to Summer!

I'm really excited about Fall, but

it's bitter sweet because I'm going to miss

Summer!

We've had a great Summer doing what we love...

spending time together as a family!

Madison celebrated her 15th Birthday...

 with a "Froggy" cake!!

She got her driver's permit! YIKES!!!

She drove us around a lot this summer!

I may or may not be trying to use the brakes over on the passenger side.

 The girls enjoy doing anything that creates a mess...

baking cupcakes did just that!!

 Bailey learned to drive the golf cart and spent 

as much time as she could with her B.F.F. Emma!

 The beach is our second home!

 Here we are trying to escape from some rain on the island.

 As always we enjoyed our annual trip to the Aquarium.

 We rode out Hurricane Arthur at the beach!

While Madison attended her church camp Bailey and I had a blast

at Chuck E. Cheese's.

 We spent a lot of time at Target and enjoyed Starbucks way too much.

 We found all these sand dollars at the beach!

 Mike's Farm is always a fun family gathering!

 Daddy enjoyed beating his girls in monopoly every chance he could get.

 Bailey celebrated her 7th Birthday with a little sleepover.

We enjoyed a beautiful wedding!

It really was a great summer...

also a fashionable summer!!!
