Guess What?

Guess what the Parrish's have been up to???
Yep,  you guessed right!

Madison had a game Friday night against a rival team, Express.
So happy to say that we WON!!!!
 These girls were super happy!

They are all smiles in this pic, but they weren't at 5:00 the next morning
when they had to rise and shine to travel to Asheboro for an all day
volleyball tournament.
Madison and Elizabeth doing whatever you call this!!!

The hubby and I watching some volleyball.

TIME OUT for some team pep talk!

Bailey entertaining herself during the game.

Michelle and Bailey taking selfies and snap chatting them to me!
You should know better! :-)

It was a very long and exhausting day, but these girls won
1st PLACE!!!!
So proud of every one!

Yep these two are pretty happy!

So proud of this girl and her team mates!

I know I talk a lot about volleyball, but we really do more than just that.
My girls also take dance!!!!

Bailey loves her tap costume!

Bailey and Emma were twinning last week and they didn't even plan it.

Human Trafficking

Friday night, the hubby and I attended a presentation at Mount Olive University about
Neither one of us knew much if anything about this topic, but
we were blown away with all the information and statistics we were presented.

Chris and Anna Smith are co-founders of this non-profit organization called
which is a faith based ministry that seeks to open shelters for human trafficking victims,
free of cost to American boys.
The couple was very excited to announce that the first ever human trafficking
shelter for boys called The Anchor House would be built in Greenville this year.

Anna was our speaker for the evening and it didn't take long to realize that
this is her passion.  She shared some startling statistics such as
N.C. is in the Top 10 for human trafficking and over half of the victims
are boys.  Initially when you think of this awful sexual exploitation you think of
young girls, but statistics show that there are just as many boys.

They have been traveling to several larger cities researching and putting together
a video documentary.  Anna shared a few stories of victim's they had
encountered. How and why these victims end up taking part in this modern day
slavery will astound you.  Some are trying to make their way through college while
others are looking for their next meal.

Please join me in prayer for this awesome organization.
Take time to visit their website and share with someone today
about human trafficking.  The only way to begin in this fight is to
become more aware.

Weekend Fun!

I am so happy March is here!
Hello Spring...Goodbye Winter!
I so wish that this was the case, but the temperatures are suppose to drop
very low tonight with a chance of a wintery mix.

We had a nice weekend.
On Friday evening the hubby and I went to a presentation at
Mount Olive University about human trafficking.
Be sure to check back this week for more information
about this topic.  Some things will truly shock you and hopefully
open your eyes about what's going on right here in N.C.

On Saturday the girls had volleyball practice.
I am still trying to get used to the idea that Bailey is playing.

We grabbed some lunch from Subway and then relaxed at home for a little while.
Bailey's BFF, Emma came over to play while Madison and I went to
Stage Struck's performance, Footloose.
Here we are at home before leaving!

We had a great time at the musical.  I mean who doesn't love

And to make it even better- one of my dancers, Brianna Garon
performed.  She danced with the curtain warmers and did a fantastic job.
I am so proud of her on her first Stage Struck performance.

After the show Madison and I hit up Krispy Kreme!
She loves sprinkles!

My favorite is the cheesecake donuts and of course
I inhaled ate a hot glazed one also!

On Sunday it was a beautiful day with the temperature almost 70 degrees.
We stayed outside all afternoon playing with the kids!

Only 2 of these are mine!
We played some volleyball- the girls against the boys AND
the girls seriously spanked the boys!!!!

So ready for warmer weather to stick around!
Praying for NO more wintery weather!!!
Have a blessed week.
