We've been enjoying some wonderful time at the beach this week!
Well, up until the last several hours anyway.
We are currently as I am writing this post attempting to ride out
HURRICANE ARTHUR!!!
It has just recently upgraded to a Category 2 Hurricane.
YIKES!
Thursday was very windy, but not much rain until the evening.
We went out to the water several times just to see how
rough the waves were.
Captured this picture of Madison viewing the waves crashing in the ocean.
We actually ran into a guy using this anemometer to measure the wind speed.
This afternoon it got up to 20mph.
Before we left it measured 30 mph.
Very interesting!
It's 9:37 p.m. and we are glued to the t.v. watching Skip.
So thankful that we still have electricity!
Thankfully Hurricane Arthur will be hitting hard through the night and by
lunch time on our 4th of July will be long gone!
Once this is behind us we can focus on celebrating the
4th of July!
Hopefully this afternoon we will be enjoying a little fishing,
swimming and most importantly our freedom!
Happy 4th of July from our family to yours!
