You are worthy!

Like most days I fee unworthy of our Lord's love and favor, but
He continues to show me that through His grace and love
I am worthy, loved and beautiful in his eyes.

I came across this the other day on social media and it just
stuck with me.
How powerful it is to know this!
Some days you rock that "Christian status," while other days
you boldly feel you could have done so much better.
With that feeling of disappointment in yourself comes doubt that
God is looking down ready to punish you.  That's just not true-
God loves you in the hot mess you are in and wants to
see you through it.  You simply must trust and believe
you are worthy and include Him in your life by
reading your Bible, praying and spending quiet time listening
for His total guidance.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise,
as some understand slowness.
Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but
everyone to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9

I hope this encourages you today that whatever you are going
through or whatever you have done-
God is there ready to fulfill His purpose in your life!

Have a blessed day!

April

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!
We have successfully made it through the first
week of school!
I'm linking up today with Erika, Narci and Andrea
to talk about my favorites from this week.

ONE
We've been trying to get back in our school groove this week.
As sad as I am to see summer go; I am ready for cooler weather, to be
back on a routine, the county fair, pumpkin everything and just spending
quality time with my family!

I shared some back to school pics earlier this week so if you missed
it be sure to check it out HERE.

TWO
How about that SOLAR ECLIPSE!
That was pretty amazing to witness and reminded me of
how GOD has his hand upon everything.

THREE
I made some purchases a while back and this was one of them.

I love this new millennial pink that is so popular right now.

FIVE
SALE ALERT!
I purchased these shoes back in the spring and they've been
great to wear this summer and I'm sure I'll wear them in
the fall with dresses and jeans also.

Back to School

Back to School

Yes, it's that time of year again where we say
Good Bye to summer and
Hello to schedules, homework, carpool,
dance classes, projects and the list goes on and on!
While I'm sad to see summer go I am excited for a new season.
A new season that brings cooler weather, sweaters, fall fun activities,
pumpkin everything and holiday fun.

Madison started her first official day of college last week.
She is excited for this new journey and we couldn't be more proud of her!

She was able to complete a year of college during high school and
is off to a great start at our local community college.

Yesterday was Bailey's First Day of 5th Grade!

She was excited to get back to school, but I'm sure that
feeling will fade quickly.
Does anyone else have kids like that...they just wanna shop
for school supplies and show it all off on the first day then they're over it!

5th grade came way too fast!

 Sporting her new backpack.

Some quality time before heading out the door.

I helped her get all her supplies to class and yes I was the Mom
that stuck around for pictures at her desk.

Not only was it the first day of school, but also the
Solar Eclipse.

Madison and I styling those eclipse glasses.
It was so cool to witness.

We kept checking it while in the carpool line to pick up Bailey.

We were able to see Bailey's class come out to view it.

 She seems thrilled...doesn't she?!

First day of school calls for one of our favorite dishes- Crescent rolls with chicken and lots of cheese.
It was yummy!

Praying for all of the kids, teachers, and administrators as they head
back to school.  Trusting and believing this will be a great year!

Thanks for stopping by!

XOXO,
April

Double Digits

We celebrated
Bailey's 10th Birthday
yesterday...well actually all week!
That's what happens when you're the baby in the family.
Double digits are a big deal!!!

We started earlier this week on Tuesday.
Madison, Bailey & I enjoyed a
Girl's Day.

First stop...Starbucks & Target!

Next, we enjoyed lunch at the Olive Garden.
Madison told them it was Bailey's birthday and we enjoyed a
free treat.  Bailey is so shy...she was not happy with us when everyone came
over to sing!
I forgot to take pics the rest of the day.
We got our nails done, went back to Target(we love Target),
visited the mall and just enjoyed being together before
school is back in full swing.

On Thursday, Bailey had a little sleep over.

After eating she was ready to open her presents.
I can't blame her.  She got some really cute gifts.
Her girlfriends know her very well.

 They enjoyed a Bonfire.
Yes, a bonfire in the middle of August.

The girls took a bubble bath for like 2 hours and went upstairs.
We didn't hear from them for the rest of the night.
On Friday, we enjoyed this Ice Cream Cake that
Bailey picked out.

On Saturday, we took Bailey out for dinner to celebrate some more.
First, we took a few pictures!

I can't grasp the fact that she is 10!

 Daddy's little girl.

 Pics with our cat also!

On Sunday(Bailey's actual Birthday) Daddy surprised her with
a quick stop to Target after church to pick out a present.
Another bed for her American Girl Dolls!

Sunday afternoon we had a little party for her.
 Grandma Sandra loving on Bailey.

This sweet girl right here was the life of the party!

Kendi loving on Miss Clara Jane!

 Mommy feeding her!

After eating we sang Happy Birthday to Bailey and enjoyed
these yummy cupcakes.

A sweet friend made these adorable
Mermaid Cupcakes!
They were a hit!

 Bailey's favorite part- PRESENTS!

She got this cute Kitty Backpack she's been eyeing at
Target for sometime.

 And make-up...lots of make-up!

Little Sophia was the life of the party too.
She brushed Madison's hair...so sweet!

 Selfie with Sophia!

Bailey with her friends from school.
Sweet girls!

Love these dear friends of mine!
Saw this quote and it fits these two perfectly...
"You can tell who the strong women are...
They're the ones building
each other up instead of tearing each other down!"

Happy 10th Birthday Bailey!!!
We love you till the counting numbers end!

Thanks to all for making her day extra special!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a blessed Monday!

XOXO,
April
