VOLLEYBALL!

One word for our weekend---

VOLLEYBALL!!!!

Madison has been playing volleyball since the 7th grade and loves it!!!

After her season at North Lenoir finished up we began practicing for 

the travel volleyball team, FUSION.

This is her second season with Fusion.

On Friday night we traveled to Greensboro to spend the night for

our first volleyball tournament of 2014 scheduled for Saturday.

Not only was Madison excited about this, but Bailey too!

Just the hotel stay was fun for her!!!

We got to Greensboro around 7:30 p.m. on Friday and  

joined the team for supper at a yummy Italian restaurant.

The volleyball players seem to enjoy each other's company.

They cut up and talked the entire meal!

We then headed back to the hotel for baths and bed!

Madison stayed across the hall with her buddy, Brooklynn.

Bailey was in need of some time with Madison so they practiced volleyball in between games.

We had lots of snacks to munch on while we watched thanks to 

Michelle for bringing these huge Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!

Gene was in heaven!

It's hard work watching and cheering our girls on!

Fusion did great for the first tournament of the season!

We won the first game, but lost the last 2.

The last 2 games were very close and went into the 3rd round.

We headed home, but of course we had to eat again!

We ate at Texas Roadhouse in Burlington.

Brooklynn spent the night with us and went to church with us on Sunday.

We took Brooklynn to Brooklyn's Pizzeria for some yummy pizza in Goldsboro!

Well, that was our weekend!
