These shorts scream fun!

 These shorts are super comfortable.

I paired them with a basic black tank and dressed it up with some accessories.

These shorts are no longer available, but I found these that are cute and fun as well.

Fourth of July is just around the corner and I've got the perfect fashion accessory for you!

Madison just recently got this American flag scarf.

She pointed it out to me and I immediately knew it would be cute with

so many different outfits this summer.

This girl right here is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!

Yellow Floral Lace

I'm always on the hunt for a pretty dress.

So when I saw this one it really caught my eye.

 The hubby thought this dress would show up well 

next to the corn beside our house.

I think he was right.

On Monday the girls and I headed to the water park.

 And as you can see my girls didn't hit the water when they arrived... they ran

straight for the beach volleyball court.

After they realized how hot it was they changed their mind.

Bailey is cooling off under the zebra umbrella.

 Such a sweet girl right here!

 Madison was going to the movies with some friends so

Bailey and I decided to tag along.

We went and saw Maleficent and 

enjoyed some Chick-fil-A.

I had to share this picture because it's just too funny.

Bailey started out sitting on the other side of Madson, but then

eased her way here.

She's always got to be right in the middle of Madison and her friends.

Father's Day Weekend!

We've had a great weekend celebrating

Father's Day!

We began on Friday when the hubby got off work we 

headed for the beach.

As soon as we got there the girls wanted to head to the pier to throw out

the crab pot!

It was a little windy as you can tell.

Saturday morning we packed up the boat to go to an island.

Madison rode the knee board!

She did great!

Bailey was ready to relax after we searched for sand dollars.

Daddy was the lucky one and found the only sand dollar on this trip.

Is that what I think it is?

Yep! A dark, black cloud.

So we grabbed the umbrella and tried to stay dry...

but it didn't work.

We all got wet!

Later, Madison checked the crab pot to find this fella right here.

We had a nice trip to the beach.

On Sunday we surprised Daddy with

cards and gifts.

 Daddy loved his card & gift from Madison.

 She's a Daddy's girl!

 Bailey almost missed all the Father's Day action. 

She was a little sleepy.

We then went to church to worship our most important,

Heavenly Father.

After church we came home and Gene cooked chickens on the 

grill for our Father's Day lunch at Christel's house.

We had a wonderful lunch with some yummy desserts.

I have been blessed with a wonderful loving family.

Bailey loves all the attention she gets from her favorite cousin, Taylor.

Taylor just graduated with honors this weekend from North Lenoir High School.

We are so proud of her and all her accomplishments.

I am so blessed for the wonderful men in my life.

Although my father is no longer on this earth;

he will forever live in our hearts.

He showed me the true meaning of unconditional love.

A father's love is so sweet and pure.

I know how much my Dad and his presence meant to me 

therefore I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband and father to

our sweet girls.

This picture proves how awesome he is!

How many husbands and dads do you know that 

would put on matching pajamas and pose for 

Christmas card pics in front of the fireplace???

THIS DADDY DID!

A Black Maxi Dress for the weekend!

I've been on the hunt for the perfect black maxi dress!

I'm not sure one exists, but I found this one that is super comfy and stylish.

There is so much you can do with a black maxi dress.

I paired mine with this black & white Kimono fringe cardigan.

You could dress this up or down.

Whatever you're in the mood for.

I chose a black & gold pendant, but a bright statement necklace would

work also.

Just Have FUN with it!

AWARDS DAY

I am now the mom of a high school 

SOPHOMORE

and a

2nd GRADER!

Madison and Bailey

had a great school year.

Yesterday we attended Bailey's 1st grade

awards program.

It seems like just yesterday we were attending her

preschool graduation.

 Sweet girl right here at her preschool graduation  in 2012.

And this is Kindergarten graduation last year-2013.

Now here we are celebrating Bailey's accomplishments in 

1st grade.

 She is sitting quiet and still waiting for the awards to begin.

 She is walking up to receive her Accelerated Reader Award.

 Sissy was motioning for her to adjust her headband a little.

 Bailey received an Academic Excellence Award for 

receiving all A's through out the entire school year.

 So glad I was able to snap a pic of Principal Kristie Brennan with my girls.

She has been Bailey's principal for 2 years and was also there when Madison was 

in elementary school, but she will be moving this summer.

We are going to miss her so much!

 I got Emma out of class to come watch Bailey's program.

 Sissy helps Bailey with her homework sometimes while Mama is at work.

Riley Sasser 

was injured in a very tragic accident on Tuesday.

Please join me in prayer for this young man.

Praying for Riley's full recovery and his family & friends during this time.
