Goodbye 2013! HELLO 2014!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2013 was a great year!

Let's take a look back!

In January we hit the slopes for the first time in a few years.

This was Bailey's first time skiing!

Also in January I cut all my hair off!

Madison played travel volleyball with team Fusion!

Volleyball is life!

Madison went to her 8th grade Social and Bailey got all dressed up too!

Madison is our ray of sunshine!

I didn't spend as much time in 2013 with this chick as I would've liked, so I'm gonna

work on that in 2014.

Bailey still gets a sippy cup!

In May, Madison received the Coach's Award for Volleyball.

Bailey graduated Kindergarten!

Madison graduated from the 8th grade!

This was really too much for one mama too handle.

Both my girls growing up way too fast!

We ate at Pizza Villa to celebrate!

In May, Madison turned 14 and we surprised her at the beach house with

a brand new surf board!

Surf's Up!

In June, the hubby went back to his old roots and bought himself

a dirt bike!

We visited Carolina Beach and stopped by Britt's for some yummy donuts!

Bailey and her classmate, Gavin danced a duet together in the dance recital.

They stole the show!

Fourth of July at the beach of course!

In August we celebrated Bailey's 6th birthday!

In 2013 we enjoyed a lot of Starbucks!

Madison began her freshman year at North Lenoir High School.

Bailey began 1st Grade.

In October we participated in our first ever, 5k.

Madison placed 3rd in her division!

In the fall we played some more volleyball!

Go Hawks!

We ran in our 2nd 5k and we both placed!

And this is our last 5k for 2013.

We both placed 1st in our divisions!

Of course Fall would not be complete without some pumpkin carving!

In November I turned 35.  Ouch!!!

  

We took a girls trip to Myrtle Beach and enjoyed the show at 

Pirates Voyage!

Madison finally got her braces off!!!

Beautiful!

The hubby was away hunting for a couple of weeks and this 

is our happy reunion when he finally returned!

We've been blessed beyond measure in 2013 thanks to our

Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

I am so thankful for my family and wonderful friends.
