It truly is the best time of year to celebrate our
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
CHRISTmas isn't just about presents, but
more about showing love to others.
A few dance groups from my studio had the pleasure of doing just that last night.
We've been practicing for a couple of months on some fun
Christmas performances to take to our local nursing home,
La Grange Gardens.
Our big night finally arrived!
The residents at La Grange Gardens were thrilled to have us there and
welcomed us with open arms.
Our first group performed a cute tap dance to,
Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
Bailey is on the far left.
He knows if you've been bad or good!
Final Pose!
So proud of my little kindergartners and first graders on their performance!
The next group did a tap routine to,
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.
They're all together dancing doing a fantastic job!
Great job on the kick line!
Final pose and the crowd loved it!
We had a special visitor stop by to dance with some of the girls.
Do you recognize this green face????????
Yep, that's right!
You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
Madison performed with this group.
What a great time they had dancing with the Grinch!
So proud of these girls and their hard work.
After our dances we did a little singing for the residents also.
Bailey, Maura & Emma did a cute little song for everyone!
At the end we all came together to sing as a group.
A huge thanks to
my pianist over in the top right corner,
Mrs. Jennifer Moore for playing the piano so the girls could sing.
We sang Silent Night, Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.
I am so thankful for each girl and their families for taking time out of their busy schedules to bring a
little Christmas Cheer to the wonderful residents at La Grange Gardens.
Also a huge thanks to all my parents that donated food items for the goodie bags.
We had the cutest little bags; thanks to Maura Ham and her family for decorating them.
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Matthew 25:40
